Our Big WHY?

SHE VET iNSPIRES strives to reach out to women in the military community who are changing careers and whom desire direction.  She’s a mom, a wife, and/or a veteran in a transitioning phase who appreciates resources and clarity as to how to utilize them.

Our partners assist us in making a difference in society?  By becoming a sponsor you’re partnering with us to build a better future for tomorrow’s generation while taking a stand for today’s livelihood with social good.   More women are leaders, mentors, and heads of their household, but their income doesn’t reflect it.  Having resources for excelling their career plays a vital role in their career development.   That’s why we’re raising the bar and educating them along the way.  We invite you to join us in creating change!  To learn more contact us and we’ll be happy to give you the scoop!

Why Sponsor or Partner?

Women in the military community are required to change jobs or careers more than any other society due to frequent relocations. Often times, it’s difficult to find employment at the new location for months or sometimes even years in the same career field.  This results in unnecessary hardship and the need to begin the corporate process all over again.  It’s difficult to gain wages beyond entry-level or have seniority.  We focus our training on developing skills that are transferable and which allows flexibility for her to work abroad.  Ideally, closing the gap of having to start over each time she relocates.  Your sponsorship/partnership will assist us to stabilize one of the most important factors she faces in life as a result of sacrifice.

Women occasionally reach a “glass ceiling,” making certain levels of positions suffer from the lack of gender diversity. By not introducing cultural diversity in the workplace, companies are not only possibly missing out on hiring more qualified candidates, but also a less diverse company lacks different ethnic perspectives that could enhance the marketing of products and services..

Bizfluent

While diversity numbers are progressing, we’re still not where we need to be. Even after major, public diversity initiatives were announced, backed by multi-million dollar investments, there have been slight improvements, but none that are making a substantial impact.

The Observer

Military service is demanding, but returning to civilian life has its own unique brand of challenges. For female veterans, those challenges are compounded by the mere fact that they are female.
